Abstract:

ČIAMPOR Jr., F. 2004. Systematic revision of the genus Graphelmis (Coleoptera: Elmidae) IV. Graphelmis scapularis and Graphelmis clermonti species groups. Entomol. Probl. 34(1–2): 1–20. – The Graphelmis scapularis and G. clermonti species groups are designated within the genus Graphelmis DELÈVE, 1968. The former includes only one, already known species, the latter comprises three known and six newly described species: G. clermonti (PIC, 1923), G. ambigua DELÈVE, 1970, G. shirahatai (NOMURA, 1958), G. boukali sp.nov., G. spiralis sp.nov., G. schillhammeri sp.nov., G. fulvolineata sp.nov., G. cornuta sp.nov. and G. sausai sp.nov. Diagnoses of the species groups, habitus and detail drawings of characteristic structures of genitalia and pregeni- tal segments and scanning electron microscopy photographs of some male metatibiae are presented.
